About Dr. Hitesh Patel, DDS Dr Hitesh Patel is one of the few dentists with extensive training in the new and revolutionary approach to cosmetic, implant, TMJ, and sleep disorders dentistry. He is a 1984 graduate of Loyola School of Dentistry. Dr. Patel fuses technology with his tremendous skill and experience to improve not only the smile and appearance, but also the overall health of the patient. Dr. Patel has been treating difficult smile makeovers and TMJ/pain management patients since 1986. He has received fellowships (joining an elite group of only 5% of U.S. dentists) from the American College of Dentists, Academy Dentistry International, and the International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics. He is a Diplomat of the American Academy of Pain Management and certified by the Academy of Clinical Sleep Disorders Dentistry. He has appeared on ABC 7-Chicago for features on snoring and sleep apnea, and has had articles appear in Chicago health magazines. Dr. Patel has given numerous health talks since 1990 to various communities, hospital staffs, and doctors in the Chicago area. He has been included in the "Guide to America's Top Dentists - 2005" by the Consumers Research Council of America based in Washington D.C., and included in the "Leading Health Professionals of the World - 2006" by the International Biographical Centre in Cambridge, England.
